Trusting God At All Times Daily Devotional. So….. I saw a picture that touched my heart.
There is a young woman in nursing scrubs standing beside a man, clearly a patient because of the hospital bracelet on his wrist, and he’s sitting in a chair.
The man is holding a dog - a blond scruffy looking dog that reminds me of my beloved Nado who I had to help cross the rainbow bridge a few months ago. I miss that boy much more than I thought I would.
If the memory of Nado wasn’t enough, the story behind the picture was even mor4e powerful.
The man and his dog lived alone. But the man became ill, critically ill. So ill he had a lengthy hospital stay and there was no one to care for his dog so he made the second more difficult decision a dog owner has to make - he had to give up his dog to the humane society.. .
