Trusting God At All Times Daily Devotional. A college friend and fraternity brother during music school days at what was then Madison College has made his living as an elementary school music teacher. He recently posted inspiring words about the importance of music in our schools and his words spoke to me about the importance of music in the church. His name is Sam Ebberly, and I reached out to Sam and asked permission to share his words with you today. I’m glad he said, “Yes.”
March is “Music in Our Schools Month” a celebration of the importance of music in our lives as individuals, and society as a whole. A means of exploring cultures here at home and around the world, music transcends language, wealth, education, geography, gender, and time. It’s a shared experience that touches emotions, lifts the heart, helps heal the soul and bonds humanity together.
