The Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church includes a section on the Doctrinal Standards for the people called Methodist. It is here we find the Twenty-Five Articles of Religion . Please note that the Constitution of The United Methodist includes the following Restrictive Rule: The General Conference shall not revoke, alter, or change our Articles of Religion or establish any new standards or rules of doctrine contrary to our present existing and established standards of doctrines.
